This quilt was entirely handmade with care. All pieces of the top are Heather Ross fabrics, handstitched together with cotton thread. It is small enough to be used as a lap quilt, baby quilt, toddler quilt, or may be displayed on the wall as an art quilt.

All quilting was done by hand, for a finish that is quite soft and pillowy. It will become softer with use and washing.

The quilt was made by a technique called English Paper Piecing, which involves wrapping each piece of fabric around a piece of paper for structure, then stitching all of the fabrics together. Once the fabrics are secure, all the papers are removed. This technique allows complex shapes to be stitched together.

This quilt has not yet been washed. Once washed, this quilt will form lovely crinkles of softness, changing the appearance slightly. Recommended to wash gently, tumble dry low.
